Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you have something for my kids?

Yes! Kids and youth are centered in our community. We have a fun, safe environment where they can learn about Jesus in an age appropriate way.

Our kids ministry, Kingdom Kids, uses creative methods such as music, video, crafts, and group discussions to help your kids know Jesus and make Him known.

Pre-School and Elementary classes are available at the 10 and 11:15 am services.

Our youth group meets after our 11:15 service.

  • How long do services typically last?

Our worship services typically last for about 65 minutes. 30 minutes of worship music followed by a practical, biblically centered message. Don’t be shy to linger a little longer after the service - we have free coffee!

  • What kind of people make up First Christian Church?

FCC is a multi-generational church made up of people from various backgrounds, ethnicities, and abilities (and we love it this way). Unity in the midst of diversity is a big part of God's Kingdom and something that is reflected at FCC (translation: there is a place for you and the people you care about).

Our social media accounts can give you a good feel of our church family.

  • What denomination is the church affiliated with?

We are truly a nondenominational church, and while we do come together with other churches for various camps and retreats we have no official denomination affiliation. We have people from various denominational church backgrounds.

  • Where do I park?

We have guest parking and family with young children parking close to our building. Just look for the A frame signs as you pull into the parking lot.

  • What should I wear?

Come exactly as you are - don’t dress up or down for anyone.

  • What are the sermons like?

Pastor Nate is an engaging communicator that preaches through a passage of scripture each week. He is dedicated to not only going verse by verse through the scripture, but showing how the scripture applies to our every day lives. He regularly uses props and stories to communicate the life giving truths of scripture in an understandable way.

  • I'm skeptical about Christianity. Am I still welcome?

YES. Bring your doubts AND your brain with you to FCC. You will have an opportunity to learn, ask questions, share hurts from past experiences, all at your own pace.
